What we do

Rhiannon Faith creative workshops combine:

  • text and movement
  • physical approaches to text – verbatim/autobiographical/scripted
  • contact work
  • technical skills including company repertoire

To complement dance studies at primary, secondary, FE and HE levels, Rhiannon Faith and her company can support the dance curriculum to meet specific needs, employing the techniques used in creating material for Rhiannon Faith performances, or based on current repertoire.

With particular attention paid to working with improvisation and creating an original and meaningful movement vocabulary, students are given the opportunity to learn Rhiannon Faith’s creative approach while experimenting with their own findings.

If you have a specific format or outcome to work towards, workshops can range from two hours to a full day, or longer residencies over days/weeks focusing on the creation of a new piece.

Rhiannon Faith also offers CPD for teachers and extensive support for non-dance and dance specialists.

Project Example

Since 2014, Rhiannon Faith has worked with students at the University of Bedfordshire  to create their own devised dance theatre pieces A Punk Prayer, Happanity and Displaced.

‘Happanity’ was premiered at Richmix, London.

Watch ‘Happanity’ clip for highlights of the show.
